Knocking it seems the goal of many.  The only thing of which they have obviously been guilty is pointing out that the Emporer has no clothes.  Also, it is likely composed of mostly that half of the population that pays income taxes, not those who don't.

On Taxes

This business of more than 40% of people paying no taxes and 5 or 10 % of taxpayors paying 50% or more of all income taxes is NONSENSE!  If you want class warfare, that creates it. EVERYBODY can afford to pay something - - even if it only a few dollars or 0.5% of their income (or benefits, if they are net receivers).  That way everybody has a little skin in the tax game.
